As a Support Mentor, you will primarily be providing support around independence skills. However, you will need to be empathetic and understanding of the trauma some of the young people you are supporting may have suffered which can sometimes manifest in challenging behaviours.

You must be at least 21 years of age and have the following:

  • 3 Years’ experience working with vulnerable young people/adults
    NVQ 3 / QCF specifically in Children and Young People or commitment to work towards
  • Full driving license with access to own transport
  • Flexible to work to a shift pattern including sleep ins and weekend work
